What to Expect in the Tour?
The principle of this Paris essential full day ( +/- 7 hours) tour is very simple: to give you a maximum of knowledge and insights of the historical heart of Paris including a first discovery of the Louvre Museum.
The tour is structured in four parts :
- The content of the 3-hour essential Paris Private tour
- The content of the 2-hour Louvre Private Tour
- One hour pause for lunch
- One +/- extra hour dedicated to more flexibility
The extra hour may be used to deal with any contingency and/or to better adapt the tour to your expectation as for example slower rhythm of the tour, more time for lunch pause, extended time in the Louvre, or for the city walk.

What to Expect in the Second version of the Tour?
The principle of this Paris essential full tour is to have the Louvre tour after the walking tour as an evening tour instead of having it in the middle of the walk as a standard Louvre day tour.
Two consequences :
1/ The Louvre evening tours are usually much more comfortable than the Louvre day tours as the Louvre is normally less crowded in the evening.
2/ We don't cover the after-Louvre itinerary of the first version of the tour (Concorde, Place Vendôme); instead, we include the famous Le Marais district.

The tour is structured in three parts :
- A 4-hour walking tour in the heart of Paris starting at 1 p.m.
- One-hour time pause, which can optionally be cut/skipped, to be decided between the customer and the tourist guide.
- A Louvre Evening Tour starting at 6. p.m. and ending at 8 p.m.

An Exceptional Experience in Paris
In preparation for my trip to France, I researched official options with credentialed experts for a tour of Paris. I found Yves' website and was impressed by the various options for touring Paris and other areas of France. I decided to book the full day tour of Paris (including the Louvre) for first timers, for myself and my mother.

Price does not include Louvre special tour tickets (€ 28 for people over 18, free under 18) and mandatory € 20 "right to speak" Louvre fees.
We will purchase both for you, as you can't buy them yourself.
Tickets you can purchase online yourself are not tour compatible.
Restrictions
- The tour is on foot, covering +/- 4 mi to 5.5 mi city walk to which you have to add extra walks for the Louvre museum, so good health and comfortable shoes are mandatory.
- Prices do not include Museum tickets, transportation, food, drinks, or any other extra services.
- Neighborhood tour: we don't enter monuments unless otherwise specified.
- Tour duration & content are purely indicative; they may vary due to contingencies.
- Weather: the tour will start on schedule rain or shine.
- Private tour means a tour for you & your party only, not that the museum is privatized.
- In case of unexpected closed galleries you accept to follow a substitution content.

- Photos are authorized but without flash. Selfie sticks are not allowed.
