Best private tour you can find in Paris, especially for history lovers! I booked a 3 hour Napoléon tour with Yves, and he customized the trip accordingly for my background and knowledge. It is such a bless to walk around Paris and listening to the story behind each monument and details. Yves is very knowledgeable and answers all my questions promptly, he also goes extra miles to explains on the things he thinks might be interesting for me.
I will definitely look for Yves again for customised tour whenever I come back Paris!"

"2 excellent half-day tours: Ile de Cite & sites of the French Rev. I would not hesitate to book with Broaden Horizons.

We booked 2 half-day tours with Ives and Broaden Horizons tours: Ile de Cite tour and a tour of the French Revolution sites. The Ile de City tour was the first half-day and is perfect for first-time visitors or people who have not been to Paris in a long while, such as us. We covered the Latin Quarter, Ile de Cite and a bit of the St Germaine area as Ives explained the history of Paris, dating back to the Romans. He had photos and maps to aid in his explanations and it really made the history come to life and more understandable. The same can be said for our second half-day tour of the French Revolution, Both days he also answered our general questions about Paris and suggested sites, restaurants, etc we might enjoy during out stay. I 100% recommend Yves and Broaden Horizons and will recommend him to friends and family. We learned so much about Paris and had fun doing so."

"An Exceptional Experience in Paris

In preparation for my trip to France, I researched official options with credentialed experts for a tour of Paris. I found Yves' website and was impressed by the various options for touring Paris and other areas of France. I decided to book the full day tour of Paris (including the Louvre) for first timers, for myself and my mother.

My mother and I were incredibly impressed by Yves' mastery of Parisian history and his ability to customize the tour based on our interests and enthusiasm. As an art and cultural enthusiast, I was impressed with the Louvre tour since we focused on sculpture (one of my favorites) and viewed breathtakingly beautiful works of Renaissance art. Our tour was comprehensive and we covered an incredible amount of ground - it was a visual and intellectual feast! Our tour truly took our trip to Paris to the next level - it was the highlight of our trip! We are looking forward to seeing Yves again when we visit France in the future.

Our group had an absolute blast – it's not every day you find yourself laughing and learning at the same time. Yves has this fantastic ability to make history feel like a lively chat among friends. I left the tour not just with a head full of facts but also with the feeling that I had just spent a day out with a group of old pals. "The highlight of our trip!!

This was the best investment and hands down the highlight of our trip!! We booked a tour of the Louvre with Yves. The Louvre is huge and there is so much to see. In two hours, Yves managed to show us an incredible amount. He is deeply knowledgeable about art history, and it was amazingly helpful to have him contextualize what we were seeing for us.
